conclusiones y reflexiones que me he traído conmigo:

historia, no somos felices.

HappyForce y
World Happiness Foundation.

¿Qué nos hace felices en el trabajo? Sentir aprecio y reconocimiento.
Sentirnos valorados.

Pepe Bouza. Fundación aprende a mirar.

Pepe Bouza. Fundación aprende a mirar.

Pepe Bouza. Fundación aprender a mirar.

¿Te animas a SER FELICIDAD?

Happiness is serious business.
So serious that the UN General Assembly decreed, in its resolution 66/281 of 2012, March 20 as the International Day of Happiness.
So, last Monday the 20th we were celebrating the World Happiness Festival that took
place in Zaragoza. And no, it has not been just one, but four intense days of presentations, dynamics, coaching sessions, concerts and outdoor activities. The main protagonists in matters of well-being and happiness in our country have passed through the festival, there has been talk of education, mental health, new technologies, politics, economy, sustainability, business, work and leadership, art, music, spirituality…

Why talk about this almost a week later?

Because during these days I have dedicated myself to enjoying and soaking up everything that was cooking there, and now that I am home, I am unpacking the suitcase that I have filled with new learning and reflections, making sure that I am going to carry them out in my day to day.
Because when the euphoria of the celebrations passes, it seems that everything is
forgotten, and no, we cannot question our happiness only on March 20, we need it every day.
After listening, debating and facilitating sessions for people who have passed through the beautiful Zaragoza Auditorium, the festival venue, I want to share part of the conclusions and reflections that I have brought with me:

The main acts that give happiness: Appreciate, Share and Thank.

“The more we thank life, the more reasons it gives us to be thankful”.
Esther Bauset. Leadership Mentor.

“Money DOES give Happiness… If it is shared”.
Nacho Barraquer. El Gefe con G.

The opportunity to innovate and create is in the new, as Socrates said:
«Focus all your energy on creating the new and not on fighting the old»

A fact: “despite being the most technologically developed society in history,
we are not happy”.
Professor Psychiatry Javier García Campayo.

One of my favorites that I usually repeat over and over again:
 «Stop to think»
We live in the world of continuous thinking; we have repetitive and recurring thoughts that make us worry about things that are not going to happen. We want to distract those thoughts in the world of doing, we compulsively do things to anesthetize our own head. Being able to stop, pause to observe what is happening to us, observe our surroundings and be able to think clearly.

Use in life the basic rule in diving no matter what:
“Stop, Breathe, Think and then Act”.
Luis Gallardo. President of the World Happiness Foundation.

«Be responsible, exercise your responsibility.»
Responsibility means the ability to respond, by delegating responsibilities that only correspond to us we are also delegating our ability to respond.
Raul Varela. Director General of the World Happiness Foundation.

Happiness is NOT an object of consumption.

Happiness is NOT a passing fad, it is a necessity and a right.
Constitution of 1812 art.13, UN Resolutions 65/309 and 66/208.

«Leadership is the ability to bring out the best in others.»
Politics has allowed me to see the best and the worst in people.
Albert Rivera.

“Happiness and well-being are not the same”, well-being is built from the outside in and happiness is worked from the inside out, therefore, happiness depends on the quality of the mind (our thoughts) and well-being on the quality of life.
Dr. Paloma Fuentes. Happiness Manager

“To measure happiness, you just have to listen to people and ask at the right
time”.
Alex Rios CEO. Happyforce

“Happiness has metrics”, tell HappyForce colleagues (the first platform to measure the happiness of people in organizations) and the results they have compiled in their World Happiness at Work Report:
“Professionals who have a hybrid work model are happier, more committed and willing to recommend their organization, and have no intention of changing companies. “It is not the work model itself, what is valued is the ability to choose, the freedom to decide where I want to work from. It is the feeling of freedom that tips the balance. Findings of the Global Happiness at Work Report. HappyForce and World Happiness Foundation.

What makes us happy at work? Feel appreciation and recognition. Feel valued. Be careful not to lose sight of the relational model in remote work.

Happiness and commitment go hand in hand. As people mature, they give importance to their purpose, the older ones are the most committed to their organization, being, curiously, the ones who are fired the most.
Nacho Barraquer. The Chief with G

Technological advances are not a threat, when these advances have gone against the human being they have been discarded: «Fear is not technological advances but progress.»
Ecequiel Barricart. Youmedia CEO. Agency in the Metaverse.

In our country there are already companies that have a selection department based on values, your personal values are your letter of introduction and if these are aligned with those of the company then they serve your CV.
Cecilia Coll. Quinton International.

A reaffirmation: «Talent is not retained, it builds loyalty.»

«Curiosity rejuvenates, activates the brain and is the best vaccine against fear”. Curiosity is present in all of us, it is a matter of activating it through our behavior.
Teresa Viejo. Journalist, writer and Master of Curiosity.

Digital natives do NOT exist, there is no generation that was born predisposed to the use of technology, but these generations acquire greater digital skills because they spend more time with them.
Pepe Bouza. Foundation learns to look.

The more children there are in a house, the more screens. The use of social networks and the minimum age to have a mobile device should be legally regulated. The mobile takes parental control away while the Ipad is more controllable simply because it doesn’t fit in your pocket.
Pepe Bouza. Learn to look foundation.

“On the internet you are a visitor or you are a resident”. Let’s not let our children be residents in the network, they are unprotected in it.

Pepe Bouza. Learn to look foundation.
With this photo of the social reality in which we live, work, educate our children while we
develop as people, it is when the purpose of the World Happiness Foundation, which works to create awareness about the society we are creating, makes sense. and change the model towards a more free, conscious and happy world.
There are still people who think that happiness is a hippie concept, there are still businessmen who are afraid to enter this world of well-being metrics in case a problem
arises in their company, there are politicians who use this as a pure electoral facade, and schools that, despite providing screens as the main teaching medium, are not prepared to manage them.
Surely more than one example has come to mind. Because it’s a matter of mentality, let’s start changing it.

Thank Luis Gallardo and Raul Varela for giving me the opportunity to be part of this
change. A year full of challenges and new opportunities awaits us. Do you dare to BE HAPPINESS?
